yesterday...
we left at like 5am.. which means I got up at like 330! No traffic at all! We got there around 8....
I don't know if I've ever mentiond this before, but I'm a HUGE Kasey Kahne fan. HUGE. I've met him a few times at signings and stuff before and I have quite a few autographed diecasts, pics, etc. Yesterday I was in the Valvoline tent at Daytona and Kasey was standing right next to me!! I said "Hi Kase!" and asked if we could take a pic - he was saying sure when some manager-ish dude said he wasn't allowed to take pics right now because then everyone would want one and there wasn't enough time. But it was SOO exciting!! I've never just ran into him before and I've definetely never touched him on the arm and asked to take a photo!! Haha!! I was like a giddy school girl! It was great! I also saw Richard Childress, Joe Nemecheck, Joe Gibbs, Casey Mears, I met David Stremme briefly (but he shook my hand and names were exchanged and everything), saw Jimmie Johnson, I'm sure there was more that I'm not remembering. It was super exciting!

I can't wait until tomorrow!! (Olga got tickets for the super stretch suite for tomorrow's busch race)
